Lopov- I love the look that you have achieved for Hobo. All he needs is a vodka bottle hanging out of his back pocket. The beard and hat works so well in combination!

That moon is mega awesome. That is the one part that FO4 has ruined for me. The moon is so small and has no visible detail. I still love the huge double moons that ride over Tamriel and always stop and stare at them. I desperately need a Xbox mod for my moon!

The first captive Loviatar rescued was an accident. After clicking on them, I meant to click on ignore, but I hit free by mistake. Naturally I immediately shot them afterward. So that became Loviatar's m.o. - she frees them, then instantly kills them. And she still gets good karma!

What kind of race is Deadwalker?

I've seen many pics of that Rocket but never found it myself. I approximately know where it is. Maybe Hobo will find it.

@Acadian - Hobo's melee weapon of choice is a shiskebab, composed of a motorcycle gas tank, a motorcycle handbrake, a pilot light and a lawnmower blade which is on fire in the screenshot.

@Winter Wolf - In Hobo's case it's beer, his backpack is full of it. He doesn't like spirits. I was deciding whether to go with a common head wrap or the General's Hat when I was creating Hobo but I settled for the hat because it makes him look more odd and unique.

What a great looking bus, it's quite well preserved considering how old it is.

Brian has a great mask and home though upper floors seem unstable. I see some woman down on the left in the garage but what's next to it - a set of Power Armor?

Acadian: The Big Town quest Loviatar did allows you to activate two robots for the town's defense, if you have a high enough Science skill. Of course she has a 100.

Loviatar has never been one to pass up a good meal!


Lopov: The Deadwalker Race is a mod I created in both FO3 and NV in order to play Persephone. She is undead, so she needed a true undead race to play as, with appropriate powers and vulnerabilities, as well as new, pale body textures.

The Rocket Throne is surprisingly hard to find, even though it is right out in the open. Some of my characters have walked right around it without realizing it. I think there isn't an LOD for it, so you can only see it as you get close.

That tall red tower in the other pic is called the Mass Fusion Building. The corporation which ran all the power supply in that part of the Commonwealth decided to supplement their already high ego by building the tallest structure in Boston. I have never been inside it but no doubt there will be a tough battle there.

Yes, the frame and power armor are the stations located at every settlement. You can repair your PA after battle and upgrade with new parts that you find. I have not spent very much time using PA, I am leaving that for later in the BOS or MQ.

I'm kinda just playing through the game so check out everything I can do until mods start developing. It is then I will begin Matty 2.0. As I would know where his story would take him, with 2.0 we can slowly enjoy the journey rather than rush through it to figure out how it all ends. So Atm we are avoiding doing to many sidequests or exploring so it's fresh and new for him in 2.0... so we spend our days wandering random places!

Lopov: I had to create a mod in order to cannibalize the aliens. Even though I already made an FO3 version of the Ghastely Scavenger perk from NV, which allows you to eat mutants and feral ghouls. It turns out that the aliens are classified as mutants, and the alien abominations as feral ghouls. But that perk still doesn't work on them. In order to make my Interstellar Diner perk work, I had to go by a Form List I created, and filled with all the alien entries. But there are still some aliens I cannot eat. I don't know why not, as I literally copied every entry with the word 'alien' in its name.


Rihanae: Zeta can be a fun dlc for a science/energy weapons character. It's also a good way to bring some odd character ideas to life. I used it to play Oda Hidetaka - a real-life 16th century Japanese samurai, and bring her to the Capital Wasteland afterward.

So I bit the bullet and started Matty 2.0. His playthrough will take more of a roleplay turn. Our game will be a lot slower paced, which I am looking forward to. Things look idyllic back in the Pre-War days. Even the robots were all shiny!

SubRosa- Ha! Fancy Loviatar complaining about the food tastes of others! Of all people!

Most the npc's in Fallout 4 are really well done. Well, the voice talent anyway. Nat and her big sis Piper are the standouts of Diamond City. Nat even has a Loviatar thing going on, no not cannibalism, she levitates a few feet off her crate stand in a tiny glitch.

Rihanae- Wow, so you have started 2.0. Does that mean you have added mods, or are you just aiming for a more role play experience this time? How many hours and what level did you get to before?

Rihanae - Wow, I didn't realize there was a Fallout life before the, well, fallout. Gosh, nuclear war can sure ruin a nice day!

Winter Wolf, Matty 2.0 is primarily role-play. I was going to wait for Creation kit mods for hunger mods ETC, but I got too impatient! Haha.

Before hand I clocked about 50 hours, which is a lot for me as I only really get to play for 1-2 hours every couple of days! (work keeps me busy!) and I got to level thirty

Acadian: That is indeed the Mothership Zeta dlc. It is not one I often use, since it is so otherworldly. But it has grown on me. It works well for a science character like Loviatar.

You are right, that is the crashed recon ship with the busted out canopy. At some point the aliens must have brought it up into their hangar. I thought that was a neat touch.

I just loved that old Mercury capsule. I though it was a wonderful nod to the Rocket Men of the 60's.


Rihanae: Now I am looking forward to the FO4 versions of mods like Children of the Wasteland and Shojo - that allow you to play children!


Lopov: That filthy section of the ship was the Waste Disposal area. That was a fun area, with the interactions you can get with Sally about the wonderful smell you've discovered.

There are a number of places in MZ where you can activate robots. They are normally locked away in these round slinky-like things. If you mouseover them, you can active them, and they will follow you around and fight your enemies. Most of them are in the Robot Repair Center (naturally), but there are more scattered around.


Winter Wolf: Loviatar has a discerning palette, and worms are definitely not on the menu!

I love the look you have achieved for Hobo. That is something I had wished I had tried years ago. And that final pic- I can feel the contact as you sliced into the raider! Man that would have hurt!

Fallout 4 has really changed the throwing weapons. You no longer use vats but throw things in real-time instead. I miss the vats grenades and the massive explosions and death scenes that FO3 had. The new game is cool in another way, i guess, now you can bail out of a cabin, let Dogmeat fight the enemies inside and throw molotovs in through the window!

Winter Wolf: The Giddy Up Buttercup horse(s) are in the vanilla MZ. I think they were in the Storage Chamber. It was one of the levels off of the Engineering Core. There is even a miniature Buttercup toy you can pick up.

Actually Loviatar sort of worked for the Army before the war, and before she became the Finnish goddess of death and disease. Well, she worked for West Tek - who did R&D for the Army - and created the Deathclaws, Mole Rats, and early SuperMutants for the government.


Lopov: She does look like a giant in the suit, but the aliens are kind of small normally as well.


Acadian: Loviatar will have to remember to go back to the Mothership for some cryosnacks later...

That finishes out Mothership Zeta. It is basically one big dungeon crawl. There is not much to do there once it is done. Though you can travel back, and even use it as a home, since there is a bed and workbench.

Yup, Hobo was up there too. Empty beer bottles, cigarette buts and inspirational messages like "Wh0re!" carved in wood are the best proofs of his presence.

I assumed that Loviatar will get to Vault 87's main door like it was a walk in the park. I didn't know there's a dead guy and a suitcase right outside it, so looks like it's possible to somehow reach it by normal means.

I discovered two great FO$ mods. One adds a unique player body, meaning that any body mods added will affect ONLY the player character. So to take advantage of this I added some tattoo mods to Matty! What do you think?

Rihanae, the idea of a body mod that only applies to your own character is wonderful! Although those tatoos are nicely done, Matty is too handsome to cover up with inky pictures. Now, I do confess a bias against tatoos so bear that in mind.

Haha I can't help but agree! After playing with them a while, they're rather grating on me. I will probably keep them until some more... subtle tattoo mods come out! haha

I am not much for tattoos IRL either. But I think it would be great if a modder did some Fallout-ified tats. Like the NCR's two-headed bear insignia, or the Legion bull. A standard fallout shelter symbol would be perfect too, or a toxic waste one.

I think that Matty's better off without his tattoos. Just as IRL, I think that tattoos only fit certain people, not everyone. Matty already looks good enough without them.

Acadian: Maybe you will bump into Hecate during your travels in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for a brunette with a sniper rifle...

Hecate did not go to the Persephone school of pounding on something until it starts working! So she used the wrench instead of her rifle...


Renee: She looks good? I had a lot of trouble with Hecate's face in FONV. The face textures were just not looking right, and I spent weeks trying different mods, and even going back to another character's save and redoing the face all over. Then restarting again and doing it all over. I must have created her four or five times.


Lopov: It's been to long, she's glad to be back...

That dead prospector is there, you just cannot see him behind where Hecate is sitting. I always take the Wild Wasteland perk with my characters these days. I had to look up what that one meant though. Apparently the dead guy is Johnny Five Aces, a character from a game that got cancelled. The balloons all lined up have something to do with time-travel. The balls also point to the fridge, which I do recognize from the last Indiana Jones movie of course.
