I am just noticing Saga had some mead in her, we can see this in a couple pics; the yellow meter = alcohol, so she'd been drinking during these pics. nono.gif hehe.gif

I didn't notice that till you said that, then went back and checked to see what you meant! How funny, I wonder why the mod meters alcohol and caffiene? What does that do/how does it affect gameplay? Does she have to pee when the alcohol or caffiene line hits the full line? Or stagger drunk once the alcohol reaches a certain point? And what foods have caffiene in them?

Ha ha well, that's from Basic Primary Needs. We can add urination to this mod, but I have it turned off. laugh.gif Everything is configurable through an ini file. I have it set so that she can safely handle one bottle of mead, but if she drinks two, she might start seeing double (screen gets blurry) and if she has three, she'll be falling down and stuff. wacko.gif Renee Gade III, on the other hand, can handle more liquor, because she drinks nearly every time she finds some alcohol. That mod comes with some sort of tolerance settings.

Caffeine doesn't have any real effects, other than sleep deprivation. The more coffee one drinks, the less rejuvenation happens during sleep. biggrin.gif

That is so cool! I love that the caffiene affects your sleep! What mod is that, I want it!

I wonder if you intake a lot of caffiene if it makes you have to pee more frequently?

I found a "realistic needs" mod for Skyrim that does include the pee - I haven't installed it yet, but when I do I'm leaving the pee active on it just because they made the pee toxic; so if you accidentally release on your enemies it kills them, lol.

Lydia beware! R.Kelly is here! BWAAAHAA !!!

Basic Primary Needs?, by the infamous Maskar. Just so you know, this mod adds a lot, it's one of those "hardcore" mods, but anything you don't like can be configured on and off. Apparently, caffeine also lowers the need for sleep, but when your char finally does sleep, he'll need to sleep for longer than usual, to get the full sleep benefit. Sleep deprivation causes loss of Fatigue in the long run.

I'm not sure, I don't use that part of the mod, but you can maybe try it out, see how it works? biggrin.gif

I've heard of acid for blood, but acid for pee? blink.gif ohmy.gif
mALX
@ Renee - Thanks for the link! This mod sounds Awesome! And really well thought out !!! The mod was called "realistic needs" - it also causes the NPC's to pee occasionally too, so the Player isn't the only one. I can't wait to try it out, just not installing any new mods in my game till I finish the mod I'm working on.

@ SubRosa - laugh.gif I guess whoever made the mod heard it was the body's toxic waste and carried the idea one step further, lol. But if I read the description right, you can bottle your pee to dip your arrows in, rollinglaugh.gif

But before you "poo poo" that idea; the Vietnamese (in the Vietnam war) actually did use body waste on their weapons because it gets into the blood in wounds and creates a septic infection that spreads through the body very quickly in the blood. The infection was harder to heal than the wound, penicillin was scarce in wartime. More patients died from septicemia than from their wounds.

Foxy would know the name of this trick, I can't remember the name of it - but they used to soak their daggers in feces and urine; then bury them in the ground with the blade sticking up out of the ground. The soldier walking through steps on it and it cuts his foot - not enough of a wound right away to be carried out on a stretcher; but within a couple days he was dead from that foot wound = septicemia. Guerrilla warfare.

Renee
There ya go, Lopov. Back in Cyrodiil. Love the sepia-tones. Gaspar looks a little like Lucien, if he's wearing his hood.

mALX: Whoa NPCs also do .... that? blink.gif That opens all sorts of possibilities.

You are thinking of punji stakes. They used feces on them, which does indeed cause infection.

Lopov - Welcome to Gaspar. Sounds like an ominous story in there. . . . smile.gif

Ya know, you're right - Gaspar does look a little like Martin Septim. Is that guy in his room related to Vigge the Cautious (who likes to stare at sleeping mages in Skingrad)? Neat that he found a Legion Forester to ask directions of. Stymied by the old hidden entrance trick, eh? wink.gif

That is it, I'm sure. Gross, but deadly.

@ Renee - yeah, I mean they don't unzip or strip, just the girls go behind a building or in an alcove and squat; the guys go behind a building and stand as if they are peeing.

If you come up close and look you will see the pee stream, but nothing else. (No bodily organs). It doesn't leave a puddle or dark spot on their clothes; that will have to be an update laugh.gif

So Gaspar made it! Deepscorn Hollow is such an isolated and lonely place it never clicked for Buffy. Neither did Frostcrag Spire for the same reasons. She quite enjoyed all the friendly folks and activity in the Thieves Den DLC though. smile.gif

Thanks all. It wasn't just me, though, the randomizer offered me a great template to work with. smile.gif

Kahreem really is a Redguard. bigsmile.gif

Back in the Country is a beautiful shot, my favorite from the selection. It reminds me of southern Italy.

It's Lady Saga and her mice!

Hey now I have another favorite - The Nine in the flight! You picked an appropriate title too.

Quite a thick fog over the bridge. Let's hope that the cell loads as it should so the bridge doesn't abruptly end. bigsmile.gif

--

A neat meadow with abundant flowers which Vion found west of Bravil.

He decided to find out what is the mysterious statue about.

As soon as he got out of the water, he noticed unusual vegetation.

But even more unusual was the man on the other side of the "door". If you're wondering why he's shirtless, it's because he left his shirt and shoes at Bawnwatch Camp when going for a swim.

He had a short conversation with Haskill. And then butterflies appeared. Plenty of butterflies.

Seeing the Gatekeeper in action made Vion convince that he shouldn't tackle him unless prepared.

He met some sane and less sane residents of Passwall in the Wastrel's Purse and finally found a vest to wear.

And though he still found no shoes, he had to admit, that afternoons in the Isles were beautiful.

But to see more of the Isles, he had to get past the Gatekeeper. Jayred Ice-Veins was there to help him, and he also allowed him to take a pair of boots from his house. He called the Warden Power upon himself, and the battle could begin.

Though as he quickly experienced, the Gatekeeper wasn't the one to be underestimated. He sent Vion flying all over the battle place.

But in the end the size didn't matter, and Vion's sword finished Gatekeeper's reign over the Gates of Madness.

And so a new tourist entered Mania.
SubRosa
Khareem is back home! laugh.gif

Very cool pics! The sunset in the country one is magnificent, as is the greenery in the wild, and the cloaking darkness in black. The fog of course is really cool, like she is riding off into the mists of legend, like the end of Pale Rider or High Plains Drifter.

Vion has been working out with the ab-master!

The Warden power? Does that keep criminals in prison? wink.gif

It looks like the Gatekeeper is bowing to Vion at the end there.
Acadian
Renee – Thanks for the pics! They look great and I loved the three mice! I see Saga travels with her detect life on as well. Love the roam forever one - girl, horse, fog, neverending bridge, happy sigh. happy.gif

Lopov – The area around Bravil is very pretty. It sort of seems natural that Vion would check out that mysterious nearby island. Butterflies!!! Wow, Vion must be made of pretty tough stuff to get past the gatekeeper. Hopefully, that’ll carry him well inside the isles.
mirocu
I also like the pic of Saga riding across the bridge - such an adventureous image happy.gif

Nice to see the Isles again, Lopov. Lothran´s battle with the Gatekeeper was so long ago both of us barely remember it tongue.gif
Renee
Thanks all! You guys/gals are great.

The 'three mice' are really carrion rats added by MMM. These little guys sometimes show up whenever a dead body is near. tongue.gif If you accidentally step on one, it'll go "SQUAWK!"

Pseron really liked the fog shot when I showed him awhile back. He's a lover of thick fog, being the inventor of the Morrofog mod for Oblivion.

It's so weird looking at pictures of SI, you know.... it's like some other game (other than TES) completely to me. That Gatekeeper dude is scary. Who are all the other folks standing around that courtyard?

Mania was bright and luminous as were its sunsets.

Its dogs, however, were a bit unusual and not friendly at all. So Vion had to kill them.

He spent the night under (or inside) a large trunk. And finally met a wanderer that didn't attack him on sight.

He got lost along the way and crossed the border between Mania and Dementia. Serching for fabulous New Sheoth, the town of the Mad God himself, he finally spotted it in the distance. The path to it, however, was long and dangerous. Before reaching the town, he stopped at its graveyard and chuckled upon some epitaphs.

Gates to the demented part of New Sheoth were guarded by a Dark Seducer. After opening them Vion finally arrived to Crucible.

"This probably counts as the inn...and this as the general store."

Crucible definitely had the most unusual blacksmith. And he quickly attracted attention of the suicidal Imperial who wanted for Vion to kill him.

He ignored his plea and instead went to the inn. But he had to admit that the room wasn't bad for only twenty gold. Not bad, not bad at all.

However, he didn't feel comfortable in Crucible. Either its residents wanted to get someone else killed either they wanted to die themselves either they were kleptomaniacs or addicts. But Vion was on a lookout for doing something noble, so he agreed to find a cure for Sickly Bernice. She was sick, by the way. The cure was supposedly located deep below in a cave called Knotty Bramble northeast of Crucible. Fortunately, Vion found a deserted bedroll inside it and took a nap before descending further down.

New characters!! Welcome Gaspar and Vion. Gaspar’s pictures would not load for me, but Vion’s did. He is so handsome and very noble-looking. Shirtless is a good look for him. whistling.gif My favorite is the one where Vion strides through the mists of Mania.

Renee, I love that picture of Anvil from the fort courtyard. That’s gorgeous! Lovely to see Saga and my favorite Forrester. The mist picture is great. It makes a familiar place quite mysterious. Your picture titles are particularly awesome in this batch! biggrin.gif

Vion found the cure for Sickly Bernice but got lost on the way back. It is quite difficult to get oriented in Dementia, especially if gaming without a compass. Nonetheless, with time he found his way back by following creatures which he killed on his way to Knotty Bramble.

In the following days he socialized with friendly citizens of Crucible and explored more of the town, so he found its chapel, and even got a blessing.

He also ascended up to Palace Grounds, realizing that the Mad God lives in a far more luxurious palace than the Emperor of Tamriel used to live. For now he didn't dare to enter the Palace itself, instead he took a stroll through its gardens.

Exploring a vicinity of Crucible, he found Deepwallow, a small settlement where residents refused to leave their houses. Ever.
Since swimming was his favorite free time activity and he had free time in abundance, he couldn't resist a swim in the unnamed lake close to Crucible. When he felt that he had just become more athletic, he returned to the town.

Exploring some more areas around Crucible and fighting Balliwogs on his way, Vion found the infamous Hill of Suicides.

But being in Dementia was making Vion feel gloomy so he needed a change. What better to do than to enter Crucible's counterpart - Bliss. Its streets were bright and tidy, but its residents weren't much more sane than in Crucible. Others just wanted some Saa-WEET-ROOOOL. And a seductive bookseller wanted to spend a night with Vion. Or with Vion inside her.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*mALX's head explodes*

Your textures are so tremendous here that I actually didn't recognize it! For a minute I thought you had started playing ESO, lol.

Agamir, oh no!

These are some great screenshots, and I am very excited you are touring Cyrodiil !!!!

Renee
Wowwwwwww you look so awesome, Persephone. I bet you are having fun!

Room for a night is my favorite. Just the contrast between shimmery, silvery Persephone and that elf's heartland tan.

Acadian
Yay, Persephone finally makes it to Cyrodiil! She looks great - every single detail. And very recognizable as the Persephone we know and love fear.

Something tells me Agamir is going to have a bad day. . . .
Lopov
An old/new dweller in Cyrodiil - welcome to Persephone!

Great shot with the Emperor, he looks as he is supposed to look.

Seems she safely led the Bloated Float back to the Imperial City.

Agarmir's days are numbered...great shots altogether!

Leaving Bliss, Vion walked through what he called "the mushroom avenue". He passed the legendary ruin of Milchar and spent the night by a nearby lake, to be awakened by the warm Sun.

He found Hale, a small settlement of artists, among which was also Halion, quite a poet. To Vion's surprise, Hale was also a home to another dweller from Cyrodiil - Pyke. Pyke was a former Knight of the Thorn from Cheydinhal and he asked Vion to retrieve his stolen amulet from nearby Fetid Grove.

At night residents of Hale locked themselves in their houses and Vion climbed up a giant root to find a place to sleep. The next day he walked to Fetid Grove, found its "heart", and gathered some amber.

He returned to Hale in the late afternoon and returned the found medallion to Pyke. His words made Vion think whether he'll ever return to Cyrodiil himself. He spent another night atop the giant root, reading Saints and Seducers before sleeping.

I remember mushroom avenue. That is one of my favorite places in the Isles. Seeing all the pics is getting me in the mood to go there. Perhaps Persephone will take a trip to the strange door in Niben Bay?
Lopov
"Really, do come in. It's lovely in the Isles right now. Perfect time for a visit."

Renee
Really cool-looking place. No wonder so many people like S.I.
Acadian
Lopov - Like SubRosa, I also love 'mushroom avenue'. And camping up in the big mushrooms is a fun idea. Great set of shots from the SI. Such a wonderful and beautiful land to visit!

Renee: The truth is, I cannot count how many times I have remade Persephone's face since I created her late Friday night. Every time I think I have it good, I see it from a different angle and cringe. I have gone back to the drawing board and started over from scratch at least three or four times. I think I finally have it together now. I just hope I don't jinx it by saying that!

Lopov: Maybe Persephone will make it to the Isles. But I installed Unique Landscapes a while ago, and have not had the chance to see all the things it adds. I think I will finish up exploring those new areas first.

I am using a mod that makes Uriel and Martin Septim look like their voice actors. I have to say I love it.

mALX: It is nice to be back in Cyrodiil again, after being away for so long. Tbh, one of the big reasons I am not interested in ESO is that I could not play my favorite characters in it. It is has a class system, and there is no modding. I could not play Persephone because while she is mainly a fighter, she is also a necromancer as well. Conjuring the Darryls is just as much a part of who she is and what she does as swinging a greatsword. Likewise, while Teresa of the Faint Smile is mainly a woodsy archer, conjuring animals is just as much a part of her as using a bow. Of course I'd never be able to do either in ESO. sad.gif

I am using Qarls Texture Pack 3, which really turns up the quality on the textures. It really makes it look like a different game. I am also using the face textures from Robert's Female Bodies (but not the actual body textures or meshes laugh.gif) I liked the BAB body a little better, but I think Robert's has the best facial textures I have seen for Oblivion.

Acadian: Persephone has been everywhere else, so it is high time she visited Cyrodiil. Who knows, maybe I'll take her for a spin in Morrowind someday, and try out Skywind with her. She has rapidly become my favorite character. I just can't quit the living dead girl.

Agarmir just had a very bad day. Stay tuned. wink.gif laugh.gif
