That is one cool zombie horse. Its like a Fallout ghoul, but with a horse. Persephone needs one!

It looks like Jerric has the iron swords from Skyrim.

I love the ship graveyard. Maybe the glowing goop ocean dried up after Molag Bal ate all the victims within it? Maiq might know.

Who knows the evil that lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow Lil! biggrin.gif

Lil is showing off her legs in that last pic. And a puppy! smile.gif
McBadgere
Whoa!...Excellent picsies!... smile.gif ...

That one with the horse...I'm slightly more impressed (no offence intended!) in the purple Battle-Cat behind it!...Whoa, Dude!...That's proper awesome!... biggrin.gif ...

I think as some point, I really need to give this a proper go...I kinda dismissed it, really... kvright.gif ...The kids - especially McBoy - did a fair amount of it, but I was content to ignore/Dad-nap through their goes... biggrin.gif ...
hazmick
Got...a couple...of screenies for you all from The Gold Coast.

First, the new character select page now shows your char, their pet and their mount. The whole team!

So it begins...

Our new mount, Andraste the wolf. There'll be plenty more shots of her, she's gorgeous!

Anvil Mermaid.

Went to see Benirus Manor...turned out it used to be a bank.

A familiar sight.

Our first Minotaur! I love their design. Here's another, livelier, specimen.

A new species of troll that throws mudcrabs.

Welcome home.

Meeting the family.

Shrine to the Dread Father.

New outfit.

We helped some other players take on a world boss. It was tough, but the adventurers prevailed.

Garlas Malatar.

First look at Kvatch.

Not sure I'll ever get used to seeing Direwolves in the stables.

Kvatch Arena.

mALX

l know I'm not caught up on commenting this thread, but I just couldn't wait to see the screens of Anvil and Kvatch!!!!!!

l LOVE those Dire Wolves, they are gorgeous! Anvil looks sweet; I have to get this DLC just to see Anvil and Kvatch!

These are AWESOME shots !!!! Thank you so much for sharing them with us !!!!!!!

I'll get caught up on the rest of all these posted screenshots soon, I feel awful for getting this far behind on commenting!

McBadgere
Yeah, much liking the Anvil screens!...

Oh look...The Dark Brotherhood... rolleyes.gif ...yay...

tongue.gif biggrin.gif ...

I have about as much interest in the DB as I do in being a Vampire...No...Maybe there's a little more, but only because of the armour... biggrin.gif ...

However...Excellent pics, mate!... smile.gif ...

The achievements aren't too difficult, on the whole. You have to kill 1000 Dwemer machines for the Dwemer Slayer. At Vet 16 it only takes Haa-Rei 1 shot to kill a Dwemer spider in the Deshaan ruins, but that's still 1000 arrows.

Aaah that creepy zombie horse mount thing! I saw one the other day, but I have no idea what it is or how people get them.

I've got the achievement on the constructs; is that the color you get for the achievement? It is beautiful!

QUOTE(hazmick @ May 2 2016, 10:37 PM) *

Completed a difficult achievement in Wrothgar today, and was rewarded with some new outfits. It's really just 3 variations of 1 outfit but they all look good.

Black

White

The third set has a brown bear and gold armour, but I haven't got a screenie. I also finally managed to craft a full set of Dwemer gear - I'll get a shot of that tomorrow.

Gaaaah, I love the wolf head! (and the bear! ) I'm dying to know how many crown points you have spent on mounts and pets, laugh.gif

Grits
hazmick, thank you for the great pictures! My favorite is the one with Haa-Rei and Andraste. Beautiful!

Jerric has walked from Anvil to Kvatch but not had time to do anything else. I love the ESO version of the Gold Coast. He arrived at the Anvil wayshrine (not sure if starting the DB questline brings you in a different way, he’s not doing that) and the waterfront was unmistakable.

ghastley
QUOTE(hazmick @ Jun 16 2016, 07:16 AM) *

She's a mermaid now? In Oblivion she was a Selkie (half-woman, half-seal), but it looks like they may have changed her to have a tail.
Acadian
Hazmick – I bet Jerric and Haa-Rei could catch a lot of fish together! I agree that the bronze and hunter green armor looks really good.
What nice shots from the Gold Coast! Everything looks fabulous. Beautiful new wolven mount. Uh oh, is Haa-Rei going to become a shadowscale with the DB? Heh, every time I hear the word mermaid, I wonder if one means a female elf or a woman with a fish tail.

Grits - Great shots! How’s the fishing in Coldharbour? Wow, M’aiq’s advice sounds like he’s been to the wastelands of Falloutville. Zombie horse indeed! Looks like Jerric should maybe just go ahead and feed the rest of the poor horse to some passing orc. Those blue highlighted cats are cool though. Heh, more fishing! I love Lil in the desert. She’s a forest elf of course but she sure looks comfy in the desert.
hazmick
Glad everyone is enjoying the Gold Coast. There'll be more to come as long as ESO stops crashing every 5 minutes sad.gif

A better look at Andraste.

One of her cousins, at the Anvil stables.

Big friendly giant (mudcrab).

Varen's Wall. Named after the last Emperor, this wall surrounds the Gold Coast and is one of the main reasons that the region has been spared from the Alliance War.

Anvil architecture.

A view of Anvil, from the sea.

This new Assassin's diet is working wonders! Here's a before and after. This is very exciting - beast race skeletons! Up until now all skeletons have been human, so it's really cool to finally have Argonian and Khajiit skellies in the game. happy.gif
SubRosa
It is neat to see the views of Anvil in ESO as compared to Oblivion. The mermaid statue was always one of my favorites.

So many character to choose from Hazmick! How do you decide which to play! wink.gif

Andraste is awesome!

Cool, a wayshrine! Are those only in Cyrodiil?

A troll that gives you crabs? Sounds one bad Saturday night... wink.gif laugh.gif

That is a creepy door.

Another Motierre involved with the Dark Brotherhood. It must be a family affair.

A Limeasaurus? It sounds like a dinosaur that comes with a margarita.

Very fun to see an Ayleid ruin. Those were my favorite places in Oblivion.

Kvatch looks strange, not destroyed.

Dire Wolves are so perfect for Kvatch. That would explain the city's wolf symbol.

Wow, that is a big mudcrab. Too bad you cannot ride one!

Haa-Rei went a little overboard on that Assassin's diet! ohmy.gif
mALX

These are great shots! You have gotten me wound up to buy this DLC just to see my favorite regions from Cyrodliil in ESO !!!

Can you explore at will? Is there regional stuff to do other than the DB stuff? Is there any mats you can find there; (and if so, are any of them unusual? Can you get inside any other buildings besides the bank? Ooh, I wonder about the cave entrance into the castle !!!

Andraste is adorable !!! The Dire Wolf is the second mount l've wanted to get; didn't know they came in so many color/marking choices! (the other was a very pretty horse)

Oh how cool that the mudcrab is friendly!

Bwaahaa! A customized skeleton costume? I still have my human skeleton and goblin ones from Stonefalls, laugh.gif

These shots are Awesome, can't wait to see this DLC through you; you really brought the Orsinium one to life!

I've been noticing one of these in Davon's Watch this last month, just laying around nearby the bank/Mages Guild/and tavern area. I've tried interacting with it and with the man beside it, but get the brush-off.

So what is it? And is there a quest involved with it?

QUOTE(hazmick @ Dec 13 2015, 11:04 PM) *

Awesome shield !!!!!! I have not seen this one in game yet!
(or the little Mammoth either, lol)

QUOTE(hazmick @ Dec 18 2015, 08:26 PM) *

Myself and several other players (There were about 10 or 11 of us) all had to work together to bring down Old Snagara. It was tough, but we managed it.

Wow, where is this one? I don't remember seeing it!

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 2 2016, 05:04 PM) *

Here is the screenshot of Lildereth with her Khajiiti friends.

The tiger looks so huge, but then you notice the housecat beside it, lol.

Great shot!

QUOTE(hazmick @ Jan 6 2016, 10:57 PM) *

EDIT: Here's Eiroch showing off the horse gear. I think those leather straps on her rump are the speed upgrades. She has no leg-wear kvright.gif

Isn't that a really cool feature? I love that! Mine have saddlebags; but I always wondered what you fed to get the pretty chains! Now I wonder what feeding them for stamina gives?

hazmick
Echateres and Pocket Mammoths were added in the Orsinium dlc. If you have the dlc, you start the quest by going to see an Orc Ambassador in Davon's Watch (which is probably the person you saw).

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 19 2016, 05:16 PM) *

Here are some recent shots:

Dude… ditto. (from Jerric)

It’s a great day for fishing.

Still a great day for fishing.

Sometimes people will come along and take their shirts off, too.

Jerric loves fish. (That’s Ulfe on his left.)

This time I lost more than my shirt.

Lil’s favorite outfit.

Lil and Hassim in Vulkhel Guard.

Lil gets a lot of attention. Also from that day, a gentleman named “DatBootyClap” (or a close variation).

Naughty Sugar Paws. (They are looking at a butterfly.)

Lil and Hassim had a falling out with Sugar Paws because Alfiq does not ever shut up. This sounds like meowing in-game. They sent her to hang out with Darnand. Now Lil is taking care of Pip the vermillion scuttler, and Ulfe (the golden retriever) is with the Nord. Darnand does not mind Sugar Paws’s constant commentary. She speaks Ta’agra to him and he speaks Cyrodilic back at her. It seems to work for them. It helps that Darnand likes cats.

SPEW! That is hilarious! I haven't done that quest yet, where is it? That is so funny !!!

1st fishing photo = OMG, I've got an Undaunted quest at that cavern and can't seem to get a group going there! Urk.

Sometimes People = I love when that happens! It is one of the things I have come to love so much about playing online with other people! Just recently I stepped out of the bank in Daggerfall and a girl was just standing out there healing and rallying everyone as they came out, it was very cool! Most of the spur of the moment stuff like that just makes the whole game Awesome for me.

Ulfe has turned into a retriever, lol. I thought Ulfe would look more like Barbas, lol.

Speak of the devil! rollinglaugh.gif Oh, I love the sound your walking makes when you turn into a skellie, lol.

I haven't found the Clavicus Vile shrine, is that a quest? Where is it (what province)? Looks fun, lol.

Oh, Lil is gorgeous! And adorable outfit!

Oh wow, you must play on the console? It almost looks like an artists rendition of Vulkhel Guard here! It looks amazingly better on the PC, more "real."

I love these pets - have a mudcrab somewhere, just don't know where. I've never pulled it out, it is probably in "Collections."

These are Awesome shots, Lil is drop dead gorgeous!

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 27 2016, 09:47 AM) *

Thanks, everyone! The lads agree that they enjoy ‘Lil’s favorite outfit’ even more when she’s wearing her open-toed shoes. laugh.gif

Here are a few recent ones:

Lil and Pip and a ghost ship. (She has faith in her feet. That fall would have been fatal.)

Auridon is lovely.

Lil has a thing for golden males. She was quite taken with this guy, even though he was Altmer rude.

Auridon is still lovely. And Lil likes to find the high places.

Darnand views a mage party. Anyone know what that light dome is? He wants one.

Darnand meets the biggest airhead in Glenumbra. He has just finished another adventure that involves this guy. Darnand was happy to see him, even though the guy had caused a mess doing something heroic but stupid. Darien reminds Darnand more than a little of a light-hearted Jerric.

Agreed, Auridon is stunning! I absolutely LOVE the little impromptu parks with benches you come across walking about there!

I'm pretty sure the light dome is a shield against siege weapons; but I could be wrong.

BWAAHAA! Darien, lol.

Awesome shots!

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 30 2016, 06:12 PM) *

Acadian, that airhead and Farwil are cut from the same cloth. laugh.gif Thank you for your kind words about Lil. I think the elves in ESO look great, especially the Bosmer. Lil has so far been disappointed by the Altmer of Auridon. They look all kinds of heroic and gorgeous like that high elf Hero of Kvatch Merandil, but then they open their mouths and ruin it!

SubRosa, that’s what I thought! laugh.gif There are skeletons like that all over the place, many with fun stuff to be found in their packs. It makes me nervous to let anyone sit down.

Here’s the latest crop:

Jerric cleaning up toxic waste in Shadowfen (in Black Marsh on the Morrowind border). This is the type of terrain that made him find a guar mount. ohmy.gif

The Atronach Stone! Funnily enough the blessing increases magicka regeneration in ESO! Jerric feels his magicka is cursed enough by the MMO mechanics, so he took the blessing anyway. tongue.gif (There is no spell absorption benefit.)

Lil and Ulfe in the Elden Root (Valenwood) Outlaws Refuge. There is a campsite in there that Lil uses. The guy who has his laundry hung around the fire doesn’t seem to mind sharing. He is another cute Bosmer.

Have Baa and Mooch been here?!

Afwa and Rinces in their tree house.

Ulfe looking cute in Grahtwood (a jungle region of Valenwood) with Lil. Laeloria is the name of the nearby ruin. That terrain is pretty typical of what she’s seen so far.

Lil let this handsome woodster sweet talk her. I have a feeling that she is going to want to skin him before her ‘great opportunity’ is over.

Elden Root mist and sunrise.

Geez, I never wondered this before; but - are your pets safe from enemies? Seeing Ulfe in a Shadowfen swamp - urk! I love the Argonian quests, but hated trying to get around in Shadowfen. Something was always trying to eat me, urk.

That refuge looks like it is outdoors, lol. I have not been to Valenwood yet, can't wait to see it!

Ulfe is about to fall off that ledge, lol.

That tree house looks Awesome!

Valenwood looks beautiful in these shots!

I think the Wood Elf are the best looking race in ESO, even the males look great!

Great shots!

Full View and close up of an Argonian style two-handed sword.

That is one wicked looking sword!

I love Stonefalls. Jerric still travels all the way back to Davon’s Watch when he needs a bank.

QUOTE(Grits @ Feb 26 2016, 07:02 PM) *

Here are some newish shots from ESO:

Fishing in Shadowfen. The white dog is Jerric’s, adopted after Lil took Ulfe with her. He’s digging a hole. He is hilarious.

Fishing in Shadowfen, Jerric’s view.

Lil and Hassim outside Elden Root. Lil is wearing the outfit that the Bosmeri king gave her. (For real.)

The shirtless guy is Thane Jeggi Gap-Tooth of Windhelm. He and Jerric could be twins, in appearance and so far in habit. Thane Jeggi drinks a lot, and Jerric just found his fishing camp.

Jerric finds a war zone. He isn’t very involved yet, but I couldn’t keep him away. This is I think outside Cheydinhal.

Lil waits out her bounty in Auridon. She and the guy in the background went rock jumping as soon as the guy worked up the nerve to approach her. The guy is why she still has her top on. She does not relax around strangers.

Jerric, Flash, and the white dog (still unnamed) in Windhelm. Flash!!! It took them six months to earn enough gold to get him. wub.gif

Cats!

Saxhleel craftslizard Stays-Up-Late.

Fishing in Eastmarch demands more clothing. The bear never came over to mess with them.

Oh, those husky dogs are adorable! I've seen them trying to dig a hole in the floor of the bank in Davon's Watch, lol.

Really nice outfit!

HOLY COW! That Thane looks just like Jerric (non-hairy Jerric, that is)

Oh wow, you got to see a war? I am dying to see one; and maybe one day participate in taking a Keep!

Waiting out bounties by lounging on a beach ... now why does that sound familiar, laugh.gif And yeah, would not like stripping down in front of some stranger either; it could be some child she might be rock jumping with - or worse; a perv, lol.

Oh wow, can you buy those pets with game gold? I thought you needed crowns! Awesome, I'm usually swimming in game gold!

I also love Jerric's horse in this screen. Am dying for a different horse than my white Imperial mount.

BWAAHAA! Those cats all hanging out!

Oh, I love Eastmarch!

Awesome shots!

QUOTE(hazmick @ Mar 23 2016, 12:21 PM) *

Some screenies of Haa-Rei's first few minutes of the Thieves Guild expansion:

The city of Abah's Landing in the new region of Hew's Bane, located in southern Hammerfell.

One of three pirate outfits available in the Crown Store. There's a variant with a shirt, but Haa-Rei likes the Keffiyeh more than he likes appropriate torso coverage. Also pictured, the Jackal pet which players receive for free on entry to the city.

The Camel Mount, which already seems to be popular. We've seen a few players galloping about on them.

The tiny Kindlespit Dragon Frog pet.

Finally, for now, the suitably sneaky Thieves Guild outfit. I think Quintus the Guar cancels out any degree of subtlety that the outfit might have lent Haa-Rei.

Wow, this place is HUGE! Where is it located in Tamriel?

Holy Cow, Haa-Rei is just leather and bones! Awesome armor, but even better is getting a free jackel!

Oh, I absolutely Love those camels, I've seen a few of them trouping through Davon's Watch, lol.

Ooh, I've seen one of those frogs in kind of a neon blue!

Awesome armor! Not sure about the face mask, but I hide my helmet anyway so it probably wouldn't show on Misa! That room looks really intriguing too!

QUOTE(hazmick @ Mar 25 2016, 10:27 AM) *

Haa-Rei left the city of Abah's Landing to explore the region of Hew's Bane:

The view from just outside the city gates. The region is crisscrossed by little streams and rivers, which provide life to an otherwise arid land.

It's a veritable haven for reptiles, with several new species including the fire-breathing Haj Mota and the adorable Thorn Gecko. There are also tiny little winged serpents, and Lamias. Haa-Rei and his two Guar feel right at home.

Down by the beach.

Discovering ancient ruins. This area of Hammerfell seems to have more of an ancient Egyptian influence than others, but plenty of statues still have that traditional Yokudan style mixed in.

Finally, overlooking a river just before sunset.

In my journal maps, I noticed I had already been to some place on that Hew's Bane map, just a small area in a cove. Where is this in relation to the Alliance maps?

Urk, not looking forward to being singed by a Haj Mota, laugh.gif

That ruins looks spectacular!

This place is gorgeous! I have crowns to spend, most def getting the DB one, really wanting to know about both of them before I commit my crowns though, lol.

QUOTE(Grits @ Mar 28 2016, 02:31 PM) *

Acadian, you’re right! The Hammerfell lizards look so much like our little bearded dragon Odahviing! wub.gif (Odahviing was recently featured in a video on her vet’s web page along with (very briefly) a large insect demonstrating a predator response for some elementary school kids who were there on a field trip. She is a star. You should have heard the screams! laugh.gif) I thought of you the moment that Jerric stepped out of the wayshrine into that gorgeous rocky desert. Jerric of course thought of Buffy since he could already see two waterfalls. Even tree-seeker Lil loves Hew’s Bane. She spent her whole few minutes there creeping around the rocks and splashing in warm water, with her head sensibly covered of course.

SubRosa, I thought the same thing when I got a look at the ESO Hammerfell critters. They are a great blend of magical, new, and recognizably desert-dwelling.

hazmick, you have done beautiful justice to Hew’s Bane with your screenshots. Haa-Rei looks quite stealthy in his new leather outfit, and I love the head covering with his shirtless one! happy.gif

Here is a shot from a quest that seemed custom-made for Jerric. I mean, Poke the giant? laugh.gif The results did not disappoint!

Here is Lil taking in the sights after joining the Thieves Guild. (Shh! Don’t tell the Nord.)

Darnand still favors High Rock’s forgiving climate.

Here is our latest Tamriel-trotting friend, a magicka-Templar -Destruction staff wielding Altmer lass called Aninah. Aninah likes to heal folks, bash the bad guys with her staff, and blow things up with flashy Dawn’s Wrath spells. She is sweet and mostly innocent but prefers not to pay for things. So far the whole crew dotes on her. smile.gif

This is one of my favorite quests!

Aninah is just beautiful! And I see she is in Daggerfall, a perfect place for a thief in training = that is where Bubba Khan lives and does most of his "buying" (without paying, lol)

Awesome new girl!

QUOTE(hazmick @ Mar 31 2016, 10:20 AM) *

Forgot to post this new hat the other day - The newly added reward for completing Cadwell's Gold. (Before the recent update the only reward was a sense of satisfaction.)

Grits - I'd give those skull n crossbones a wide berth if I were you. Unless there are other players in the area to help out (which there should be this soon after release). tongue.gif

Glad everyone's enjoying Hew's Bane as much as Haa-Rei and I.

Now I know how everyone is getting Cadwell's helmet, lol. I'm wondering how I can start Cadwell's quest (or just go to the other provinces) lif I haven't beaten Molag Bal yet? I've heard there is a way if you haven't finished the main questline, but I don't know what it is.

Misa has cleared every quest and dungeon in the Ebonheart region and Cyrodiil; all the group delves; skyshards; both Fighters and Mages Guilds completed; etc. She has nothing to do now until she can go to the other Alliance areas, and can't take on Molag Bal since this last patch.

Misa is CP 50; and was just about to go after Molag Bal when they sucked all the stamina out of her. She can't even run 25 feet without getting winded now; and is having to hit enemies in Stonefalls 3X for a kill now that Calia (at just level 17) is dropping with one hit. So whatever they did, they screwed my gameplay up badly. I almost quit playing it again, till you popped out with those screens of Anvil!

And I have put plenty of points into Stamina on her attributes, plus she wears stamina enchantments - there is really no reason for them to do this; I am guessing it is part of their "All characters will be on the same level; only higher levels will have access to better equipment..."

That makes no sense, to me. Why would a new character be on the same level with a veteran character, all but their clothing making the difference in their abilities?

l also put 3000 into her horse going faster and stamina; and it goes no faster than one of the other character's horses which I put no money into feeding for speed. So really debating sending them some ranting angry feedback on this latest patch. I am also having the crashing issue since the patch too.

QUOTE(hazmick @ Apr 1 2016, 08:47 AM) *

Thanks! Haa-Rei enjoys dressing up, and it's nice when other people enjoy it too. I think Silver-Claw says it best.

Speaking of which, here's another new outfit. Personally I think the gold trim is a little excessive, but Haa-Rei thinks it's the gloves. Either way, he'll just stick with his Thieves Guild gear for now.

When I forgot about the Cadwell's Gold reward the other day I also forgot about the newly added Silver reward - the Soul Shriven crafting style. The armour is the same as what soul shriven wear in the game, but the weapons are new and really cool:

Soul Shriven greatsword.

Soul Shriven battleaxe.

BWAAHAA! This sounds like a fun quest I haven't found yet! Or is it DLC?

Wow, fancy duds on Haa-Rei here!!!!!! He looks like a Swami or something!

Ooh, nice Akaviri Dai-Katana! Misa the Templar had one for a while, it was wicked!

Oh, that Guar farming is so cool! Is that a quest?

I got the cake voucher, and nothing would activate. When I asked they said it was limited time and expired. Er, then why give me the voucher for it?

So the voucher sits in my bank account taking up a slot, laugh.gif

Is Haa-Rei a sorcerer? Oh no, you are NOT going to end it like that and not give any details on the Thieves Guild questline! You told us so much about the Orsinium, it changed my mind totally about not being interested in it to wanting to play every second of it!

QUOTE(Grits @ Apr 12 2016, 09:00 AM) *

hazmick, that’s a great display of Haa-Rei’s Sorcery! Gosh, the light in that dungeon and on the water is just gorgeous.

I have a bunch saved up, yikes. Here’s a random assortment:

A heron in Hew’s Bane (Hammerfell). Jerric loves to look at birds, even the ones who eat his fish.

Here’s someone’s moonlight tiger pet in Vulkhel Guard (Summerset Isles). It’s standing on a raised thing, so they’re not quite as tall as this one looks.

Aninah also likes to fish. She is not concerned about having a weapon equipped while she enjoys the water.

The white tiger senche who Darnand admires in Evermore (Daggerfall).

NPCs are often hilarious.

A super-cute guar Comes-When-Called that helped Lil with a quest. “Hunt down and kill” quests are Lil’s favorite.

Darnand’s pet dragon frog jumped up on a crate, so I had to take a picture. This frog sometimes flies up into the air and burps out a cloud of flames (harmless). When you run or ride it flaps its wings and makes huge flying leaps to keep up. It is adorable and hilarious. Darnand named her Anastasia. Jerric calls her Belchy.

Aninah talking to a ghost in Coldharbour. She was oddly not cold. I suspect she carries a bit of the Stros M’kai sun with her wherever she goes.

Stays-Up-Late begins his perilous trek through the Rift to deliver supplies to Windhelm. He was level 13. He made it by sneaking most of the way. ohmy.gif He had the sense to dismiss his clannfear to help avoid detection. The clannfear gets him in trouble a lot.

Jerric enjoying the sun at Faldar’s Tooth (in the Rift).

Hew’s Bane (Hammerfell) scenery:

Some ruins

Big statue

Typical interior waterway

BWAAHAA! I ran into this same NPC in Riften!

Looks like Ulfe is about to raise his leg and do his business on the little pony guar! laugh.gif

Oh, the little frog is Daedra colored! It sounds very cute!

I loved the Rift, other than its carpet of cats, lol. I finally got strong enough to deal with them just before this last patch, grrrr.

This place looks like Stros McKai a bit!

Great shots!

I see you have some crafting writ quests to do in these screens; the quest markers for them are up, lol.

Now that is one pretty Khajiit hanging out with Darnand!

Wow, those two horses side by side * I'm guessing the horse sizes itself to the player?

Cheesemongers Hollow was okay, I didn't mind it as much as his quest before that, lol.

Wow, I don't think I've been to Quagmire! How do you get that quest?

Great shots!

QUOTE(Grits @ May 24 2016, 06:30 PM) *

In honor of Buffy’s current short story adventure, here’s a look at Broken Helm Hollow ESO-style. Jerric went there planning to jump down the waterfall (again), but it was a little too frozen even for him.

Jerric will fish anywhere, including inside a cave and in the plasm pools of Coldharbour.

And because I always have a new one, here’s Lil and Hassim in Valenwood (in the Grahtwood region).

ooh, would like to catch a trophy in Coldharbour!

Great shots!

QUOTE(hazmick @ May 29 2016, 10:37 PM) *

Has this one been posted before? Are you gathering up Red Kelp for a quest (might not be kelp, but it is something red, lol)

Really nice shot of that dark anchor over the WG Tower!

QUOTE(Grits @ May 31 2016, 07:29 AM) *

SubRosa, those azure pools don’t always look so inviting. ohmy.gif I am impressed by Coldharbour in this game. I expected it to be all dark and e-vil, but there’s some interesting stuff to see. The Lion’s Den turned out to be a beautiful valley in the Rift, absolutely packed with Lion Guard soldiers (who wanted to kill Jerric). Jerric needed some help to get through it. Maybe he would have been fine on his own if he hadn’t smelled like fish!

Acadian, it’s nice that this game gives us non-combatant pets for company. Despite it being a multi-player game, the world can feel very big and lonely. (But not in the evenings or on weekends, lol.)

hazmick, I love Haa-Rei’s armor and very cool looking bow! What an ominous sight. I have not ventured far into Cyrodiil yet, it’s neat to see the IC even with a huge ring above it.

DE, he is indeed catching daedric fish! Also some stray Tamrielic fish that one way or another made their way to Coldharbour. Molag Bal liked to drag bits of Nirn into his realm even before the plane meld idea, apparently.

Here’s a peaceful spot in the Rift with some really big trees. Also giants nearby. And mammoths. I guess the small trees don’t have much of a chance!

Oh yeah, I got that skyshard in the Lion's Den by carrying a bunch of soul gems and reviving on the run every time they killed me till I could find a good hiding spot. I got killed right at the skyshard; and waited till the enemy had all gone back to their posts before reviving and quick grabbing the skyshard. When they killed me the next time I chose to resurrect at the wayshrine and got the heck out of there, lol.

Great shots!

Ooo, congratulations! That is my favorite green and metallic gold that I've seen so far. We have some work to do! laugh.gif

Jerric learning new sword tricks in Coldharbour.

A really neat place in Coldharbour where a bunch of ships fell out of Mundus or something. Jerric is not clear on the details. But he had a nice time with the skeleton.

Jerric took this as the truth.

Gaaah, what the hells is thaaat?! ohmy.gif

Glenumbra. He was so happy to get to the water, he didn’t even take time to strip off his shirt.

Lil finds a shadow in Abah’s Landing.

Lil relaxing in the sun because there is a huge Nord guy sitting out of sight up on the rocks behind her. She likes to have a fallback position.

These are all great shots! I've seen that horse, urgh.

I'll bet there are a lot of shadows in Abah's Landing, rollinglaugh.gif

Awesome shots!

Okay, finally caught up on this thread !!! WOO HOO !!!!

Echateres and Pocket Mammoths were added in the Orsinium dlc. If you have the dlc, you start the quest by going to see an Orc Ambassador in Davon's Watch (which is probably the person you saw).

That explains it then. I dropped my ESO plus membership when it expired in December; and had stopped playing sometime around September. I just started playing again this month, it was the first time I saw that huge beast laying around in Davon's Watch, laugh.gif

hazmick
Following on from the last batch of screenshots, here's a complete set of beast race skulls.

We also found an ancient statue of Akatosh. He does so love having statues of himself, after all.

Remains silent.

Took a trip to an abandoned village on the border of Blackwood. It was quite beautiful, though I wouldn't want to stay too long.

It was unusual to see a Brotherhood Sanctuary that didn't need to hide itself. Nice to see that some things are the same wherever you go. Their Sithis statue was particularly impressive.

Back in Kvatch we bumped into an old friend.

Finally, with our Brotherhood business all finished, Haa-Rei can relax.
SubRosa
That is a really cool statue of Akatosh! Is it half-buried?

Not to self, no funilingus with Remains-Silent! ohmy.gif

The Black Marsh village is awesome! The buildings are almost exactly like I wrote them in Seven.

The DB Sanctuary reminds me of a Meso-American pyramid. Maybe that explains what happened to the Maya?

That looks like a banyan tree our favorite Marsh Ranger is relaxing beneath.

Wow, that statue of Akatosh! Is that in the DLC? Because I've just found a bunch of armor at the Guild Store = Akatosh's Blessing, and it is Awesome! l

Remains Silent is downright frightening, is that a smile? (I hope, laugh.gif )

I think I've seen that abandoned village scene in "Quite Beautiful" in a movie!

Most def does not look like it will remain peaceful for long, urk.

One thing I love about ESO is the different architecture that the races have almost as symbols of their lifestyle; and of these I am mostly so drawn to the Argonian temple-type structures like the one shown here, (and I really LOVE the huts, too! )

To me, it is a really Awesome way to immerse yourself into the culture of your character's race; or the race of the people you are visiting/helping at the time.

Oh, so that beast I've been seeing in loading screens is a statue of Sithis! I thought it was Molag Bal and I was going to have to fight it in the near future!

(by the way, if you have any tips on that battle I have ahead of me now, I am all ears)

Oh Naryu! I hope she gives you some more awesome weapons, I still have her bow and dagger in my inventory even though they are way below level for Misa!

Oh, that last screen looks so much like the area around Anvil!

Did you finish the whole DLC? What happens now, is there continuing stuff you can do for them like the Thieves Guild has those treasure troves to find? (by the way, what is inside those?)

Grits
Acadian, Lil will bake herself brown from toe to eartip if she feels safe! I think it’s her need for shadows that makes her love the sun so much. Her childhood home was deep tree shade and broad, sunny river. She remembers climbing up onto logs as a little elfling and basking like a turtle. happy.gif

Jerric has caught some strange fish in Coldharbour. Some he has eaten (slaughterfish and trodh, which are the same as the ones he catches in foul water areas in Tamriel) and others are trophies and can’t be filleted. Those are things like blue slimefish, plasm darter, venomfish, and the heinous gar. He once saw a skeleton fishing in Coldharbour. When he went over to ask what the skeleton was catching, he or she tried to kill him. Then he had to find out what was under there for himself. laugh.gif

mALX, Drillk’s quests are in Zuuk in Shadowfen. The Clavicus Vile shrine is I think in Stillrise Village in Shadowfen, related to Drillk’s quests. The pets are completely safe from any damage, but Jerric didn’t take Ulfe to Coldharbour with him until he had finished his business with Molag Bal. He bought the dog with Crowns and the horse with game gold. Ulfe will have to be a golden retriever until they make an Irish wolfhound or an otterhound. laugh.gif Yes, the mounts do scale themselves to the player character. That’s why Lil does not ride a horse – she looks like she’s on a skinny little pony. Thank you for your kind words about Lildereth and Aninah! I agree, ESO elves are lovely, especially the wood elves.

hazmick, those skulls look really neat. Thank you for showing the Dark Brotherhood stuff, I think the closest I will come for a while is when Jerric fell down into a big crack in the ground onto about twenty players who were entering some DB location. embarrased.gif He says the sun was in his eyes. Woo, Naryu!! Meeting her again might be worth murdering for. Is that abandoned village a new location just for the Dark Brotherhood quest, or do you think anyone with the DLC can find it? I love that last picture under the big tree! wub.gif

Acadian
Hazmick – What a beautiful statue of the Dragon God of Time! Remains Silent, what big teeth you have! Great shots and wonderful to see Haa-Rei relaxing by that tree with his guar buddy.

Grits – How fun to learn more about the mysterious Lildereth's past! Your shots of the Gold Coast and Strid River are so beautiful!
hazmick
Rosa - Interestingly, those buildings in the village don't look anything like the other Argonian style dwellings in Black Marsh. Those old pyramids are all over the place though, built by ancient Argonians.

mALX - Yep, all of these screenies were DLC. All finished up. It follows the same template as the Thieves Guild, with radiant quests to do whenever I want (though they involve more stabbing than stealing).

Grits - Heh, that crack in the ground would be the sanctuary entrance. Haa-Rei darn near broke his neck after falling in there when we first arrived. Yep, the abandoned village is only available during the third-to-last DB mission, so I'm afraid Jerric will have to get his hands dirty if he wants to visit. The questline was pretty fun though so I'd recommend it. As for Naryu... wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

I agree, the Wood Elves seem to be the prettiest females of any of the races. I am dying to see the Gold Coast - and have the crowns if it is 2000 like they advertised.

Whenever the Crown Store screen comes up on turning the game on for the first time each day, it is showing as 4000 crowns instead; so I've been holding off. (plus waiting to hear what everyone has to say about it, too. I'm really hoping they will sell the "Crafting Bag of Holding" thing in the Crown Store, that would free up several slots for me.

I know exactly where Jerric is sitting and fishing in these screens, I've been there before in Oblivion! Great shots, and I got a huge kick out of the fishing in Coldharbour story!

Awesome shots!

I am not sold on Wood Elves being the hottest. The Altmer are mighty fine looking in this game (what a change from Skyrim!). Look at Aninah (please! laugh.gif) I hope Bethesda is watching and taking notes for their next TES game.

While Haa-Rei's having a little break, I've decided to join a new friend on her adventures.

Introducing Cirinwe. She's an Altmer sorcerer in the Aldmeri Dominion, focusing on restoration magic. Haa-Rei isn't entirely absent of course, Ciri has him making robes for her.

Here's a close-up, and here she is with Andraste. It was after she had to wear that torso-free Bosmer robe that Ciri decided to employ Haa-Rei as her tailor. Proper torso coverage is essential to happy magecraft.

Hazmick, how nice to see Cirinwe in ESO! She looks just like you describe her in Haa-Rei's fan fiction story! Great job with the scar.
hazmick
A spider summit. On the left we have Hephaestus, who belongs to Cirinwe, and on the right we have Has-Many-Legs and his Argonian owner.
SubRosa
Has-Many-Legs is perfectly named! laugh.gif
Acadian
How cool is that?!? SubRosa is right on that name, but I think Hephaestus has a great name too.
If they take damage, they go to the smith for repairs instead of the healer. laugh.gif

Ooh, nice Keffiyeh in your screen of the month! Great name and cute bug too!

I did a quest that was supposed to net me a Dwarven Spider in my collections; I can see it there grayed out and it says "not picked up." I never got a PM, so not sure why - but it isn't the only missing thing, I've got some kind of blob; a Daedra, etc - a bunch of pets that all are grayed out and saying "not picked up" and all from various quests I did. The only pet l'm able to access is my Nibenese Mudcrab. Didn't even know I was supposed to have gotten them from the quests, and kind of disappointed that I'm blocked from them if I earned them. (although a couple of them sound gross as heck!)

Uh, do you have the Five Companions here or come alone? Is this part of the DB DLC? And speaking of which; I watched a vid the other day on taking down Molag Bal - er, what is the deal with all the five companions hanging behind while you do all the fighting? I mean, huh?

And then when they returned; Lyris has the gall to say; "we somehow survived" - uh, yeah! I think it is because you stayed behind and the Player did all the fighting alone! It would have made more sense to have them fight beside you and die; especially since Cadwell ends the quest anyway.

This last shot is gorgeous, is that the Abecean?

Acadian
Wow, ESO certainly did justice to the Deadlands. ohmy.gif

Cirinwe looks fabulous – and brave! So does destroying the sigil stone in ESO close the gate or what?

And a beautiful sunset (sunrise?) in the last shot. happy.gif

It's part of the Aldmeri Dominion questline.

Well the companions are just regular mortals, who'd be squashed instantly by Molag, whereas the player is a soulless champion of the divines. tongue.gif

Acadian & Rosa - Yep, destroying the sigil stone is how people used to close gates back in the good old days. biggrin.gif

And yes, that is the Abecean Sea Ciri is looking out over. If she hopped in and swam in a straight line she'd never see land again, and would end up passing over the area where Yokuda used to be and then falling off the map. ohmy.gif

I don't get the point of why they come along with the player then, if they don't help - or why they are so relieved that they survived when they did no combat; it was just strange, laugh.gif

To me, if I was making the game, I'd have had them fight and die in honorable combat by your side so it isn't just you on Molag. Maybe have each take down a percentage of his health or something. l

As cool as the Refuge of Dread picture looks, I’m in love with the Abecean Sea one. (Big surprise, right?) Really neat the way the sun looks with her staff.

Everything is more beautiful in Auridon, I think that’s on their tourism brochures!

I love the picture of Ciri with Glaras. That outfit looks awesome on her, and the contrast with her woodland cousin makes me smile. happy.gif
