TheCheshireKhajiit: It has about a half dozen receivers or so, a dozen muzzles (they all do basically the same though, so its really a matter of choosing which one you like looks best). You can pick between it shooting auto, burst, or semi-auto. There are a half-dozen paint jobs, and an equal amount of little stickers you can put on the gun. Of course I modded it myself too, so I don't remember everything.



Renee: Victoria is wearing the SF Armor mod, with a standard army helmet painted black. I like that look too.

It looks like I have 11 Fallout 4 characters, not counting a couple I created just for testing.

Actually, I'm not sure I really enjoy killing that Deathclaw. I kind of wish there was a way to avoid it. Sometimes I feel sorry for it. My characters usually avoid Deathclaws, out of respect. That said, my melee characters like Peresphone and Tsuruhime did eagerly seek out that that Concord Deathclaw, to test themselves with sword vs. claw.

"Snake" Logan returns. Do you find it strange returning to a character? You used to be with them for a few hours only, usually no more than four dozen, then you'd move on. So this is interesting to see a Lopov character return for a Season Two. He still looks like an action movie star.

These days I prefer returning to old and established characters instead of creating new ones. So far I've spent around 80 hours with Logan. He is technically my second character in the Commonwealth but because Barry's save was lost as soon as he left Vault 111 because of disk problems with my (then) new laptop, I count Logan as my first real character. But yeah, Fallout 4 is the only game where I have only one character, in every other game I've created more of them in such time. However, I don't see me creating a new character any time soon.

@Winter Wolf - thanks for a welcome back. I'm currently on vacations in Croatia, so my laptop is at home, but when I return, you can expect more screenies of Logab (and Dogmeat).

(Spoiler) I always grab the Fat Man at the Robotics Disposal Ground. It is just sitting there waiting to be taken. Add a mini nuke or two via cheat and you are ready to go.

SubRosa- I thought that might have been Hecate. Her gear is always so high tech. I love the sign with headshots served. How did you do that? Is that in the default game? The mini nuke in flight is so neat!

@SubRosa - I need to find some mod that makes Rust Devils patrols less common. Logan already completed the Mechanist's questline, so I expected to see them rarely from then on. Speaking of, I also need to find a mod to disable BoS vertibird encounters - I think I already saw one on the Nexus.

I don't think the rust devil random encounters get any lesser after competing the Mechanist quest. But I could be wrong.

@Renee - Snake sneak-killed the raider on the left and the one who's in front of the pic, came down to investigate.

@SubRosa - the MQ in Snake's game is already over for a while so I had to resort to a mod that completely disables vertibirds - fortunately, there exists one such mod. It doesn't make sense that the BoS keeps attacking you so often, like they have a hundred of vertibirds at a disposal.

I also found a mod that makes encounters with Rust Devils much more rare and upon installing it, I haven't encountered them yet.

Snake Logan constructed a jukebox, a table, two benches and decorated a Christmas tree. He made an old generator working so it delivered power to the jukebox and tree lights. To make sure that rain won't spoil the party, he also build a wooden roof over all of it, which turned out to be wise, because rain began falling on Christmas.

@SubRosa - Logan was trying to hit one of the Forged with VATS but instead the target automatically shifted to the flying molotov cocktail, because it was closer as the Forged. So he decided that the oncoming fire threat is more dangerous than the man who had just thrown it.

@Winter Wolf - it's more interesting to celebrate Christmas in smaller communities.

@Renee - you can also VATS-target grenades (or dynamites in New Vegas) when they're flying towards you or even when they're still in hands of your enemies, if you can target them quick enough.

Lopov- Looking at the set determination and morning light on Logan's face if there is any trouble nearby then they are in big trouble! Sneaking up on the raider looks awesome. I love that Beth put those moments in the game where they try to break in and steal items. Although somebody is about to pay the price.

Rader- Awesome set of pics there. A little bit of everything- explosions, hand to hand, a quiet moment with ghostly light and a really good Lopov to finish things up. I really love the beach brawl with Mariah and Piper- they are cutting and dicing the local FH wildlife.

@Winter Wolf - sometimes waiting and listening to raiders talking pays off. The other day two raiders got into an argument over some drugs and eventually one killed another.

During the Automatron questline Logan constructed the facility inside his home - as a result the floating automatron that he needed to construct, forever remained in his house. Logan doesn't mind as long as the automatron doesn't talk too much, because it's very rude.

I wish the load times were not so long in downtown Boston. I often find myself avoiding that area just because of how long it takes the game whenever I leave a building.

Did you use a mod to construct the robot workbench? I think by default it can only be built outdoors. That drove me nuts the first time I had a character who lived in Home Plate.

At least there is more space without it.

@SubRosa - I use some mod that lets you build all exterior objects in interiors, so we could construct the robot facility inside Home Plate. By default you can't put any objects in the "darkened" section of Home Plate, because there's no solid ground, so I use a mod to fix this as well.

@Winter Wolf - the Arch reminds me of a portal to Oblivion as well. I think Logan always looks as he had just woken up.

Yeah i agree about that Automatron. Even though I've never heard it, it looks out of place in Logan's semi-stylish loft-looking residence. If Logan lived in our times, I bet that loft would rent or lease for a couple thousand a month!

Logan looks rather awkward in prewar clothes. Like Sylvester Stallone wearing Izods and khakis. He's back in his element fighting that Headless Alpha Deathclaw.

I have the same mods that fix the floor in home plate, and let you build things indoors. I stopped using the latter because I think it was causing bugs. But I was never certain of it.

@SubRosa - I build things very rarely, only inside Home Plate and on special occasions, like at Finch Farm. Even if the mod is buggy, I probably shouldn't have too many problems because of it.

The Third Rail is a cozy place, almost hard to imagine that while listening to Magnolia, there are raiders, super mutants, ghouls and other menaces lurking in nearby buildings.

@SubRosa - I find the area in the north to be one of the creepiest places in the Commonwealth, with locations like Parsons Asylum, Lynn woods etc. The place feels more deserted than the rest of the wasteland and though we haven't encountered so many enemies, there's always present some sense of imminent danger. Boomer fired a mini nuke at Logan but fortunately missed. I'm not sure what happened later on because there was a huge fire barrier caused by explosion between Boomer and Logan, but Logan was shooting at him relentlessly, though he could barely see him. As Boomer came through the fire, he wasn't carrying the Fat Man anymore, instead he was trying to reach Logan to (I assume) attack him unarmed. It didn't work out well for him.

There are Deathclaws in that area west Lynn Woods. In fact, climb the tower at Lynn Woods and press the button up there for a show. I think that is why it is so deserted and spooky!

That power armor guy at Outpost Jammony is a real pain in the neck, with his fat man.

Yeah, we came upon those deathclaws. When Logan came up the tower for the first time, he didn't press the button, and raiders attacked. If he had pressed the button at that time, deathclaws would probably kill raiders with ease. But he pressed it once raiders were dead, and had to deal with deathclaws on his own. Later on, even more raiders arrived to the camp, triggered by opening the master-locked trunk.

I like to sneak in there with a stealth boy, open the trunk to trigger the extra raiders, then go up in the tower and turn the siren on. Then I just watch the show. Afterward you can use another stealth boy to sneak out past the deathclaws.

So apparently Mariah has enough health now that she can straight-up tank a mini-nuke. What a badass. Also picked up a Cripping Gatling Laser (which I've renamed, more on that in the Unique Weapon Names thread), which is SO useful. Being an automatic weapon with a high rate of fire, it is basically guaranteed to cripple enemy legs (which raiders, anglers, super mutants, etc. have found out the hard way). Also added a Beta Wave Tuner mod to it, which adds fire damage.

Some nice action + scenic shots in "Snake" Logan's and Mariah's worlds. Question: does the vanilla game provide binoculars? Or is there a mod which adds these? This is one of those mods which I can't live without in the Capitol Wasteland.

Renee: I just have not played Loviatar in a while. She is a hard character to play, being evil and all. Especially in Fallout 4, because every time she comes across a settlement I have to decide whether or not she will eat everyone in it.

Yeesh! Yes I agree that would be a tough decision to make every time with Lovi.

Closest thing I can relate would be Mycharonna, who was insanely evil as well. But she left plenty of people alone. She'd only randomly attack if somebody annoyed her (like those two Redguard guys who randomly show up, and accost that woman). Mych took down almost all of Karwathstan one time, but that was ONE time, and it never happened again. And I don't even know why she did that. If this happened all the time, yes, I couldn't really be with her much either!

But with Loviatar.... she seems almost more of a thing, not a humanoid being. I can see how i'd struggle with that too.

@SubRosa - only two dressers in Sanctuary Hills contained clothes. In the first one was a pink dress, suited only for females, and in the second one were suspenders & slacks, which Vinnie's having. But it couldn't have been a more appropriate outfit. He also found a formal hat in one of the dressers, but doesn't wear it as often.

@Renee - at first I wanted to make him more bald, then I stayed true to the original Vinnie and made his forehead balding.

@SubRosa - those raiders were surprisingly hard (and smart), they actually spread all over the cliff, hiding behind bushes. Not to mention the dog, who managed to knock Vinnie off his feet a few times.

Today's set of screenies shows Vinnie at his best, or in his case - at his worst. The Abernathys would have survived, if the head of their family - Blake Abernathy - wouldn't catch Vinnie stealing from them. But because Blake didn't keep his mouth shut, Vinnie silenced him and his family forever.
