This one created a Redguard bank character today to free up some space in the bank so Feng could go on a burglary spree. The Daggerfall quest starts off with pirates! Awesome!

One major problem for Haa-Rei and I is that we know the Pact won't last, and Argonians will be slaves again in a few hundred years. sad.gif

It's one of the reasons Rats took so long to finally get around to helping the Pact, and that's only because she wanted to help her own kind and let them enjoy the peace while it lasted. Also she was forced to if she wanted her soul back, lol. That backfired spectacularly. At least she made plenty of Argonian and Nord friends, and even a few Dunmer friends in Kireth and her brother.

Can't say either of us really like Jorunn, though, but then the only Alliance leader I even cared for was Ayrenn, and she was aided by a ditzy shut-in who'd forget about her after it was all over. I wonder if there will ever be a quest where the Alliance leaders can be assassinated.

Bank/inventory space issues mean that a new character has had to be added to our group. Introducing Lagakha gra-Ungol, Orsimer Dragonknight.

I've actually been meaning to add her in for a while now, and she was originally a character I made in Skyrim. She's a blind priestess of Kyne, who specialises in frost and earth magic (the latter being a focus of Dragonknights).

At the moment she'll just take it easy and hold onto all the crafting motifs and whatnot while Haa-Rei and Ciri work on their crafting and clear some bank space, but I look forward to trying her out in combat some time.
Acadian
Hazmick - Cool! Is that her skin and blue warpaint that is working so well with what looks like a dark seducer costume?
Grits
Neat! It's great to meet the characters who are somewhat waiting their turn while helping out. Now I'll have a mental picture when I see Lagakha's name. smile.gif

Here is Jerric's support crew on the PC:

Elke of Green River, the Equipment Crafter. Stam Sorc. She is Jerric's cousin from Whiterun Hold.

Lleduri Indaram, Alchemist and Enchantress. Magicka Dragonknight. Lleduri did some naughty things in Skyrim (the game). If she has similar plans for One Tamriel, she's not saying.

Pog the Magnificent (not his given name). Stam Dragonknight. He who holds the stuff. Pog is not thrilled about how my laptop's graphic settings treat his body art. Pog is from Kvatch.

Sola al-Las'ah, Merchant. Stam Nightblade. This is the one who had to have the brown horse. Jerric met Sola through Rhano. Her name refers to the sting on a scorpion's tail.

Added: Oh! Elke leveled up and found a gorgeous orc-metal battleaxe right before I had to quit today. Like, two seconds before. She's still skipping with joy over those developments.

Indeed! The paint is actually a black base coat with a blue skeleton design on top. The only part of her body that isn't painted is the top of her head.

Here's another shot to show it off. She's a lot less self-conscious than Haa-Rei and Ciri. Anyone who reads my fan fic will meet Lagakha soon.

The only character I have yet to bring to PC is Trivea. I keep forgetting (don't tell her I said that).

Wow, lots of characters, classes and stuff-holders! biggrin.gif

Mira has been working to uncover the mystery behind her banishment to and subsequent release from Coldharbour. She guessed right about . She is now off to Hammerfell to find a key to getting into Sancre Tor.
TheCheshireKhajiit
Also a random person ran up to Mira wanting to "trade". She accepted and the person just gave her two trait stones for crafting and ran off. Mira saluted the person as a sign of gratitude.

"You're angry. It is to be expected."
Nope, not really.

I love how everyone seems to give even their mules an identity. Makes me feel bad about just throwing mine away when they serve their purpose. Even if "identity" is a theme I'm rolling with for my ESO characters.

Let's just say Jo'zira tried with the first (Ruben Lacroix, a name I'll be reusing for TES VI) and then gave up (Shaggy Bookkeeper, Emergency Skeleton Storage, Why This? Storage). Even Crafting Monkey Dravean was little more than a lifeless slave doll at first.

Lol, yeah Khajiit doesn't really get why Mira was supposed to be angry, but whatevs.

This one made a "hold this crap" type character and then made the mistake of playing through Coldharbour with her. Now, Khajiit thinks she has potential and doesn't want to use her as a storage bin. It's caused problems, lol

Well in my case it's because Lagakha is only temporarily a mule, until Haa-Rei and Cirinwe do more crafting research and clear more room in the bank. I've never made a mule that's just a mule.
Grits
Yeah, my supposed bank mules keep passing their stuff around and going on adventures. It's trouble when they want their own pets, mounts, hairstyles, and clothes. And now there's housing. I can see me saving up 3 million gold to buy a mansion for "Breton Jewelry Box #3." tongue.gif

Really, they got mad?! Lol, WTH? It's not like you told them to come over and trade. Ninja trading is going to get a decline from us in the future. Lol. Buffy perceives out of the blue friend requests and trade requests to be about as gracious / socially adept as introducing yourself with, "Hi, can I see if you're wearing panties?" laugh.gif

She tried on (preview) the Glenmoril Witches Costume and was unimpressed. It showcases her small waistline about as flatteringly as a flour sack. She also dislikes the hemline - that it is in uneven and split is a plus but the length is not goof on her. As a short elf, she has learned that mini, knee or ankle length all work well for her. Mid-calf? Not so much. Oh well.

Jerric found himself in a large group at the Kvatch Arena today waiting for the match to begin. Several of his fellows struck up a band while he and some others took turns entertaining with their Alcaire castle tricks. There was a lot of cheering. New Life is the festival that keeps on giving! He netted zero Morihaus gear in his Gold Coats adventure, but he did find a few books and traits for Elke to study.

Also Jerric bumped into mALX's Bubba in the bank today! It was awesome to meet out of the blue like that. That was his first Chorrol friend in-person meeting! Maybe we can have a guild tavern event some time, Jerric will buy the first round.

Oh Haa-Rei knows that feeling. So many weeks spent hunting Limenauruus back on Xbox!

Jerric should check out some guild stores, Haa-Rei was just browsing some in Mournhold and there's a ton more stuff in PC guild stores than there was back on Xbox, and switching to keyboard and mouse lets you browse lots more stuff at once than with the gamepad. Plenty of Morihaus rings in the jewellery section (but no Briarheart for Haa-Rei)
Grits
Thanks, hazmick! I am amazed by how much cheaper things are in the PC stores compared to the PS4. Good news for shoppers. There's probably a bunch of stuff that I haven't considered buying because I'm assuming it will be too expensive.
TheCheshireKhajiit
So anyone can buy stuff from the guild traders that are around? This one thought they were only for members of the respective guild.
Grits
Yep, you can buy from the Guild Traders that you see out in the world. You can also buy and sell through the Guild Store of any guild that has you as a member, if the guild has enough members to have a Guild Store. The Guild Stores are accessed through the bank.

Here's a quick (less than two minutes) video on the subject: link.

Lately Jo'zira's taken to sprinting across the land and collecting as much raw materials as he can find. Mainly focusing on cloth because, in spite of using significantly less of it in writs, his supply depletes at an alarming rate.

I like to have enough materials for a full CP 160 set on me at a time with some extra for writs, and his supply of Ancestor Silk dropped to around 300 last month and is currently hovering around 600 from a conscious effort to increase it. The annoying part is that he's currently got well over 11k Rubedo Leather and the price isn't 1:1 anymore with Silk.

Interestingly enough, there seem to be fewer cloth nodes around anywhere. Is it that someone borked node spawns (likely since there are metal nodes in places they shouldn't be) or that light armor is suddenly in demand again (less likely, due to the recent popularity of dropped sets)?

Whatever it is, it annoys me since Jo'zira also has the least gold out of all of them. Around 300k compared to Eolan's 500k and Rats' 800k.

So long as I gain around 130 silk every 4 days, it should be fine.
monkeyemoness
Today I made the tough decision of putting up for sale some of the purple set jewelry I found from Dolmen hunting for Draugr Motifs. On one hand, Spriggan and Spinner would greatly benefit Jo'zira and Rats, but on the other I'm not hunting down gear I don't want to wear. That and they're getting nerfed and I should have sold them earlier to get more money.

I might end up killing off my set item mule entirely. Who knows.

Yeah jewelry seems to collect really quick (probably because you can't do anything with it other than sell, give to an alt character, or destroy it. Seems like they should've had a "Jeweler" skill line so you could make your own jewelry, break down, and research traits from found jewelry pieces.

Jewelry crafting would make a lot of people happy. I need to do a cleanout of the jewelry collection as well. Lots of my characters have extra necklaces crammed in their pockets "just in case," and of course twice as many rings.

We are snowed in in Grits world, so in about a half hour I'm going to go to the Gold Coast with Jerric. I think that coffee I had at lunch may not have been decaf. blink.gif

That was so cool meeting Jerric! I saw him standing in the bank, and he kind of stands out in a crowd- I thought to myself, "Gee, that guy looks just like Jerric!" Like Spellcrafting, that's one of the new crafting lines I'm anticipating but may or may not be implemented at all. I'm having a hard time swapping out the Willpower/Endurance/Agility jewelry as it is. If I can improve them up to gold, only a CP 180 set of jewelry would make me change them. (When are we getting a CP increase? There's already data for CP 180 materials)

Having a meetup would be interesting. I wonder what the excuse scenario would be.

They are, but I don't think they're doing a gear upgrade pastCP 160.

I think they're saving that for whatever Update 15 is (apparently "Nord Dungeons") based on the material names (IIRC, Horker Skin, Dragon Bone, and cloth I can't remember).

Unless those turn out to be style materials and not armor/weapon materials. Datamining is tricky.
Grits
Elke's Inner Sea Armature score: woo! Jerric found a racial motif book when he did the MG quest in there. It was a nice find because he didn't have that one yet.

Horker Skin… Maybe a set with frost resistant properties to go with a new frost magic class? I can hope. biggrin.gif

They'll have to upgrade the gear cap eventually, right? tongue.gif

Yeah I don't usually trust datamining stuff unless I can see some images (like the Spriggan mounts that are coming to crown crates sometime). I'd assume anything specifically Nord related would be more likely to be style materials - wouldn't make sense if anything other than a Horker could drop Horker Skin the way that craft mats are dropped (kill something like a wolf, get Horker Skin? eeehhh).
Acadian
Nice score, Elke!

Oh, I certainly hope they don't raise the gear cap. I'm so happy that Buffy is finally above CP160 and we no longer have to deal with disposable gear. Besides, the higher they cap the gear the uglier it gets. laugh.gif
TheCheshireKhajiit
It'll probably be something like horker skin fragments. Get 10 of them for a whole horker skin to use as your style material.
monkeyemoness
IIRC the icons for the materials matched what you'd expect from equipment materials. The "dragon bone" was actual white ingots for some reason...

Fake Edit: Now I remember the source! It looks like iit might be stuff from pre-release (but the OP mentions "new" materials)? There's things like Echaterre Wool and "Orichrome" and various other unused materials.

Either way, when it comes to datamining one can't be too sure.

Since we have no main quests, fighters guild, or mages guild left, we should make it through the Covenant stuff pretty quickly.

Oooh, I wanna know more about how scary the end of the MQ is too!

Buffy joined Alise (Rider), Jerric (Grits) and Haa-Rie (hazmick) in the dockside tavern at Davon's Watch today for a glass of mead. She has briefly traveled with and even fought alongside Alise and Haa-Rei before but it was the first time in this era she has met up with Jerric. She felt like a mouse standing beside him! And she imagines he has to turn sideways to get his shoulders through doorways. That he was shirtless did not make the tavern feel any less warm than it already was either. embarrased.gif

Jerric was BIG. Next time we meet up I might bring Ciri instead, since she's as tall as can be.

As for the Main Quest and Molag Bal, it's really nothing scary. I don't want to spoil anything, but you get a power-up during the quest to make fighting a Daedric Prince a little more...possible for a mortal. As I've said before, the MQ is on the same level as the Fighters and Mages Guild questlines - designed for everyone to be able to complete.
Acadian
I was also struck by Haa-Rei's slender build. It totally suits his reptilian nature. It just seemed funny that the three of us could combine to be no bigger around than Jerric. biggrin.gif

Oh, that is just what I wanted to hear about the MQ - on par with the other big questlines and designed for all players to be able to complete. Perfect, and thanks!

While I can appreciate that, if you seek it, there is some serious butt-kicking elite content in the game, I very much appreciate that most things are manageable enough to allow non-optimized characters controlled by older, slower fingers to get along pretty well.

Grits
Jerric thinks that orcs are big, Altmers are tall, and he is regular-sized. tongue.gif It was so neat to meet up with Alise, Buffy, and Haa-Rei and be on the same screen together! I love how different they all are, yet exactly how I imagine them from their pictures and stories. The Fish Stink is a good spot for an impromptu drink break between adventures. They don't require a shirt or shoes.

I liked the end of the MQ a whole lot. There's nothing I can say without fear of spoilers, so I'll stick to a simple "Go for it!" biggrin.gif
