Just the fact it´s not in English, you know? Like every single song on the radio for the last ten years wacko.gif

Yeah it's the same reason Khajiit likes some of the European metal groups that sing in their native languages. This one doesn't understand a word of it, but it sounds awesome.

This one thinks part of the problem is that, for the longest time, we've only had the original films and the disappointing Prequel Trilogy. Watch each of those a few dozen times and it's easy to get tired of them. The best thing to happen to Star Wars in a long time (in Khajiit's opinion), is the television series The Clone Wars. It's actually pretty good for an animated series geared towards children, with some of the subject matter becoming very dark indeed. Also, the Anakin presented in the TV series is way better than the one we got in the Prequel films.

Sometimes this one feels like trying the survivalist lifestyle would be a good thing. Then he remembers that he hates being cold, wet, and dirty.

I haven't seen that yet, I'll have to look it up. And you are so right about having seen the trilogy; originals; sequels till I was burned out on them. When they were on yesterday, I almost rolled my eyes at the dialogue that I used to love.

Now that you have mentioned it, my late husband and I used to do that every summer = survivalist. We would pack up enough clothes and supplies for about a week (for emergencies just in case) and go up to the Smoky Mountains and tent it for the summer. We would cook off the food we brought from home first, then after that we caught our own bait and fished for our meals. No electricity. We kept warm with a campfire; bathed in the cold crick.

It was only a couple months, but it kept our children appreciating family times; because most of the time at home they had their noses buried in the TV.

When the trip first started, they would gripe and complain; but by the end they were loving it and hesitant to turn the TV on again. (but by a week being home again, they would be buried in the TV again, lol.)

Anyway, it gave us two months without utility bills other than the cell phone we kept for emergencies; and was a great learning experience for our whole family.

It was a lot of fun and very cool to have to think creatively about how to do things out on the trail. I can even make homemade biscuits over an open campfire! And it wasn't all fish; we caught crawdad and cooked them in a big pot over the open fire too. Up in the deeper parts of the mountain streams they grow to about 6" long; like a smallish lobster.

And someone that hunts could have done better than me in it. I wouldn't cook or eat wild game, so we didn't have rabbit or birds (or deer, etc) that another person may not have felt as squeamish about killing and eating.

This one thinks that is the biggest appeal of that lifestyle: having to think about what you are doing and being mindful of nature. As for hunting, Khajiit takes a fairly philosophical viewpoint of killing animals for sustenance. Killing should never be done lightly, and as long as it's done as cleanly as possible and always with respect (the animal surrenders it's life force so that you may live. The ultimate gift.), then this one see's nothing wrong with it. Khajiit respects that others don't want to kill at all though. This one is not big on sport hunting either.

I do agree with that philosophy, but just couldn't bring myself to kill a bunny or skin it, etc. (or see a dead bunny even, for that matter). Or a cute little deer either. I mean if it was attacking and it was either me or him, the deer would go before I would. And as long as it was down, I'd consider cooking the meat. But someone else would have to skin it and cut it up, etc. And I would never hunt an animal that wasn't hunting me first; where I was forced to do it to survive.

That doesn't apply to fish though; I don't mind luring them to my hook - and I do clean fish with no problems, they don't make me feel squeamish.

And although I am not a big meat eater; I am not against eating meat for any philosophical reasons; I just limit eating meat to a few times a week instead of every meal (healthy diet). And I don't mind buying meat at the grocery store; I don't mind cooking it or eating it if I'm not having to kill it or see it dead, being skinned or processed; etc. I just have a squeamish stomach on seeing anything killed (or processed), etc.
