I normally don't share details of my private life but I just got yelled at by a woman breast feeding a six year old in Walmart.
Basically I gave her an odd look because her son could breast feed standing up and she had chosen to do so on a bench near the front of the store.
Here's how it went down after my odd glance:
"What's your problem *******?" Says strange woman
"Nothing, I was just caught a little off guard." I replies
"You know it is people like you ruining this country with your politically correct attitudes. Kids that are breastfed longer are more intelligent than those that are fed formula. Maybe if you'd been breast fed longer you'd be more open minded."
In hindsight I probably should have just let it go and walked away from this clearly mentally unbalanced lady but I was annoyed at how rude and generally crazy she'd been so I couldn't resist.
"Yes but is he smart enough to realize that your clinginess will be the reason that he's a social outcast and the sole reason he won't want to talk about his childhood with anyone for the rest of his life?"
Aaaaand that's when the yelling about how it is nobody's business how she chooses to raise her child started and I figured it was time to go before she snapped.
I can only assume that she herself had not been breast fed a sufficient amount for her brain to properly develope. Maybe there's something to her point after all.
