Ah, the surest sign of maternal anger. I think the only reason parents give us middle names is to yell them whenever we screw up.

The number of times I heard "(Full name here) you're not bloody Superman" after dashing across the road without looking and narrowly missing a car, or skateboarding down the road and a car comes round the corner. Occasionally even accompanied by curses and words I wasn't supposed to know(but had since I was 5 or 6).

@Liz: Your kid was just chilling in the dark? I don't believe it. I bet he just wanted to scare you.

My husband lol. He hadn't gotten to sleep until about five this morning, and I got home at eleven. His tooth needs to be pulled still, and it's hurting him and can't sleep.

It is a really stupid game ending move. A move that is so dumb it will sink whatever you are trying to accomplish in the eyes of anyone that learns of it.

The direct connection goes to a TV sitcom called "Happy Days" (If I'm not mistaken) where Fonzie jumps his motorcycle over a shark tank wearing some kind of bathing suit and a leather jacket - and the episode was so stupid that people began calling really dumb moves "jumping the shark."

As it turns out, I was wrong on one point: He was not on his motorcycle, it was water skis. Here is a picture of it:

Well, I saw a deer very early this morning but I couldnīt shoot because it looked so cute it was still too dark and he didnīt stand in the right position; I needed him to stand with his full side towards me. Furthermore he vanished pretty soon too.

And even if I half-blind had taken a shot, the bullet wouldnīt have gone clean through the lungs and I would have most likely ended up tracking him. You canīt make a good shot at something standing in a 45 degree angle. They teach this in hunting class! tongue.gif

I don't remember the model I had. It's been a very long time I went hunting, and I was a kid, so I got to shoot a few times, but mostly my uncle would do the shooting.

I don't remember, my uncle used to take me hunting when I was a kid, lol. I
